I love chocolate cake and I wanted to share this vegan chocolate loaf cake recipe. This loaf cake recipe is just perfect and I love it and I think you will too.
Whenever I hear someone say they don’t like chocolate cake I scream on the inside. The first question that I want to let out of my mouth is How can you not like chocolate cake?
The hurt I feel is unreal, chocolate cake is a blessing that one cannot go without. I really love chocolate cake if you can’t tell already. Although I love the classic chocolate cake recipe, this vegan loaf cake recipe captivated me.
I made this chocolate loaf cake different by adding chocolate chips to the recipe. I like having the extra crunch when I bite into a slice of this cake.
This cake is beyond moist and delicious, I couldn’t stop eating it. The first day I made this I immediately had a slice of it and forgot the cooling process and then the next morning I had it for breakfast. Which I don’t recommend.
I just want to go over some of the ingredients I used and give some few TIPS & TRICKS:
TIPS & TRICKS
- Chocolate chips: I highly recommend using semi-sweet dark chocolate chips, they are not overly sweet and work well in this recipe.
- Coconut milk: You aren’t restricted to just using coconut milk, any dairy milk with work just was fine but I got the best results with using coconut milk.
- Applesauce: As an egg substitute I used applesauce, there are various other substitutes but this worked perfectly and you barely tasted it so it wasn’t overpowering.
I hope you enjoy the recipe.
Now, let’s get into it.
