Jerk Pork Burger Recipe

1.9K

A good burger makes me happy. This burger makes me happy because it is real good. This Jerk pork burger recipe is amazing.

I recently uploaded a Jerk Marinade Recipe and I figured I would use it in this Jerk Pork Burger recipe. It was easy to make and came out wonderfully.

This is a perfect summer recipe especially if you aren’t able to travel to the Caribbean. I can help you imagine yourself on a beach in Jamaica just with these burgers. They are spicy but have a pinch of sweetness in them. It’s pure perfection.

I hope you enjoy this recipe.

Let’s get into the recipe.

Ingredients:

(makes 6 burgers)

  • 4 Burger buns
  • 4 tbsp Jerk Marinade
  • 1 lb Ground pork
  • 1 Bell pepper, chopped
  • Coleslaw, recipe lower down
  • BBQ mayonnaise sauce
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

For the sweet coleslaw:

  • 1 cup Shredded cabbage mix
  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 5 tbsp Granulated sugar

For the BBQ Mayonnaise sauce:

  • 8 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp Paprika

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl add the pork, egg, breadcrumbs, bell pepper and jerk marinade. Mix all of them together. Divide the mixture into patties and lay on a flat pan. Set aside.
  2. Place a skillet oer medium-high heat and add the vegetable oil to the pan. Once it is warm cook the patties on each side for at least 7 minutes. Don’t flip the patties until each side has cooked.
  3. Once the patties have done cooking set them aside.
  4. I like to toast my buns in the oven for 5 minutes but this is optional.
  5. In a small bowl add the cabbage mix, sugar and mayonnaise and mix them together.
  6. In a separate bowl mix the mayonnaise, bbq sauce and paprika together.
  7. Cover each bun with the mayonnaise mixture and then place the meat on the lower bun and top with some coleslaw. Serve with fries or enjoy it alone. Enjoy!
