In addition to being tasty, patties are relatively easy to make. Once you have a great dough, you are bond to have a great patty. The dough has to be very close to perfect in order for the recipe to come out successful. I believe I’ve got a pretty good dough.

Obviously, I would say that my dough is pretty good because I’m writing the recipe. But truly it is and you will believe me too once you have tried it.

I never thought of patties being part of my breakfast but now it is. I really enjoyed putting together this recipe because of its taste and the twist on the traditional recipe. The inspiration behind this recipe came from a post I saw about breakfast empanadas.

Patties vs. Empanadas

Clearly empanadas and patties are very much similar. Although they are similar, they are prepared differently and come from two different backgrounds.

First distinction is the fact that empanadas are widely known throughout Latin America. Whereas patties originate from the West Indies and are popular on most English speaking islands.

I’ve never tried empanadas but I know they have to be delicious. Definitely will be trying one of them one of these days.
