Quick Creamy Coconut Shrimps
Ingredients
For the seasoning
- 1 lb Shrimps uncooked and deveined
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Paprika
- 1/8 tsp Black pepper
For the sauce
- 3-4 medium Pimento peppers chopped
- 2-3 medium Garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 cup Coconut milk
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Paprika
- 1/8 tsp Black pepper
Instructions
- Season the shrimps with the slt, black pepper and paprika.
- In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and cook the shrimps on each side for 2-3 minutes or until they are pink. Then set aside.
- Cook the pimento peppers and garlic for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in the coconut milk, salt, black pepper and paprika.
- Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the shrimps and cover them with the sauce. Let it simmer once again for 2-3 minutes.
