If you love seafood then you will love this recipe. This garlic herb shrimp kebabs recipe is everything seafood lovers enjoy.

This shrimp kebabs recipe is perfect for the grill, but if you are like me and you don’t own a grill you can still make them. I made mines on a stovetop grill and I was still able to enjoy this delicious recipe.

I served these kebabs with an easy green salad, that only requires 3 ingredients and I topped it with a simple vinaigrette. You will surely love this recipe, not only because of the quickness but because of the flavours.

These kebabs gave me life, it was everything I wanted and more. I used dried herbs because it was better in this recipe in my opinion, but you can use fresh herbs. I know a lot of people are against using dried herbs in anything but sometimes dried herbs are just convenient.

What ever float your boat go ahead with it. I did a simple salad, but you can always add more ingredients to your salad. However, the vinaigrette I advise you to keep just as simple as it is because it is perfect for this recipe.

I hope you enjoy the recipe.

Let’s get into it.

  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • Bell peppers, one of each colour

For the green salad:

  • Lettuce of choice, I used Romaine lettuce
  • 1 Red onion, sliced
  • 1 Cucumber, sliced

For the vinaigrette:

  • 1/2 cup Lemon juice
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tsps Water
  • 1 garlic clove, minced

Directions:

  1. The shrimps: In a mixing bowl, add the shrimps, the herbs and olive oil. Mix everything together until each shrimp has been coated.
  2. Using skewers, add one bell pepper of each colour, then shrimps. Repeat this process until you have at least 3 shrimps on a skewer.
  3. Place a griddle over medium heat, add some olive oil. Add the kebabs and let it cook on each side for 7-10 minutes before flipping on the other side. Cook on the other side for 7-10 minutes then remove from heat. This can be done on a grill also if you own one. Set them aside.
