Caribbean Spiced Sorrel Tea
This Caribbean spiced sorrel tea is an easy, homemade tea made with dried sorrel flowers, cinnamon, star anise, ginger and other spices.

Ingredients
1/4
cup
Dried sorrel
1 & 1/2
cups
Water

Cinnamon stick
1
Star anise
1/4
tsp
Ground ginger
1/4
tsp
Ground nutmeg
Sweetener(agave syrup, honey or brown/white sugar)
Instructions
Add water to a small pot along with the cinnamon stick, star anise, nutmeg and ginger.
Stir everything and bring to a boil. It should take 2-5 minutes.
Once the water has been boiled, remove from the heat.
Stir in the dried sorrel. Let it steep for 5-10 minutes.
Drain the tea into cups and sweeten to your likeness.
Serve and enjoy!
