Delicious Caribbean Plan Porridge
West Indians love porridge and plantain so this Caribbean plantain porridge is to honor the two most loved things in the islands.

Evaporated milk
at room temperature

Brown sugar

Vanilla extract

Almond essence

Instructions
Add the plantains and the evaporated milk to a blender and blend until is smooth and well blended.
Once the plantain and milk are blended, pour the mixture into a pot placed over medium-low heat.
Mix in the water, spices, almond essence and vanilla extract.
Mix everything and let it cook for 7-10 minutes.
