Preheat your oven to 375°F/180°C.
Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and set aside.
In a cup, mix the whole milk, red food coloring and vinegar.
In a mixing bowl, mix together the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ground cloves, ground ginger, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
Add the eggs, vegetable oil and sugar to the flour mix.
Gradually stir in the sorrel drink and the milk.
Mix everything together.
Pour the batter into the cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Let the cake cool completely then add icing or decorate it to your liking.
