Caribbean people love their porridge especially if it's this Jamaican Style Green Banana Porridge. This porridge will warm your tummy and fill it as well.

Ingredients
5-6mediumGreen bananaspeeled & cut
1 & 1/2cupsWater
1 & 1/2cupsEvaporated milk
1/2cupBrown sugar
1tspVanilla extract
1tspFresh or ground nutmeg
1tspFresh or ground cinnamon
1/2tspGround allspice
1/2tspAlmond essence
1/4tspSalt
Instructions
Making the banana base:
In a blender, add the chunks of bananas, evaporated milk and spices.
Blend for 2-3 minutes or until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
Making the porridge:
Once the mixture is well blended, pour it into a medium size pot.
Place the pot over medium-low heat and stir in the salt, vanilla extract, almond essence, brown sugar and water.
Stir everything together.
Let it cook for 15-20 minutes, being sure to stir constantly.
Once it has thicken and is done cooking, serve and enjoy!
