Quick Creamy Coconut Shrimps

This quick creamy coconut shrimps recipe is a super easy and tasty. It is made with coconut milk, shrimps and pimento peppers.

Ingredients

For the seasoning

  • 1 lb Shrimps uncooked and deveined
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • 1/8 tsp Black pepper

For the sauce

  • 3-4 medium Pimento peppers chopped
  • 2-3 medium Garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 cup Coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • 1/8 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  • Season the shrimps with the slt, black pepper and paprika.
  • In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and cook the shrimps on each side for 2-3 minutes or until they are pink.⁠ Then set aside.⁠⁠
  • Cook the pimento peppers and garlic for 1-2 minutes. ⁠⁠
  • Stir in the coconut milk, salt, black pepper and paprika.⁠
  • Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.⁠⁠
  • Add the shrimps and cover them with the sauce.⁠ Let it simmer once again for 2-3 minutes.⁠⁠
